Membership Information
Dorval Social Dance Club currently has a membership of approximateley 150 couples. The Club is open to all adult couples and offers classes from Beginner to Advanced level in Social dancing. Many dancers have been with the Club for over 15 years because we are much more than just dance classes.
The Club offers two sessions each year. The Autumn session runs from September to January, the Winter session from January to May. Each session runs 15 weeks and each class is 1 hour. The cost for each session is $175 (taxes included) for Dorval residents and $196 (taxes included) for non-residents.
We are able to offer lessons at so little cost because we are a non-profit club generously supported by the City of Dorval.
We offer free practices for members every Wednesday from 19:15 to 21:30 and organize 5 dance parties during the year.
Our Instructor
The Dorval Social Dance Club is happy to welcome Mrs. Luce Gagnière, an experienced dance teacher with close to 30 years experience. A member of the C.P.D.D.S.Q., she also trains competitive dancers. Luce runs with her husband Michel her own dance studio in Pincourt called Lumidanse. You can visit her site at www.lumidanse.ca She brings tremendous energy, passion and joy to the floor. We are very excited to have her with us in Dorval. For more than 30 years, the Dorval Social Dance Club offers its members two sessions of dance classes a year, weekly practice sessions on Wednesday evenings throughout the year as well as beautiful dance events.
